Dear Arcadia Community,
I want to thank all the residents of the Arcadia School District. After 34 years in public education in Wisconsin and 19 years in the Arcadia School District, I am retiring from public education. It was a privilege and honor every day for the past 19 years to say that I “get” to be the Arcadia High School principal or the Arcadia School District superintendent. I also want to thank the many parents and community members who served unselfishly on numerous committees during my tenure.
The number of talented and committed people I have had the honor to work alongside are too numerous to mention individually. I do want all the employees to know that every one of their jobs was essential to running our school. I truly appreciate the commitment and dedication they all have to our students on a daily basis.
I am making this announcement early in the year so the board will have ample time to find a suitable replacement. I wish nothing but the best for the Arcadia School District going forward.
Sincerely yours,
Louie Ferguson
Superintendent
