2nd Grade Paul Bunyan Breakfast Concludes Fairy Tales and Tall Tales Unit

Arcadia Elementary 2nd grade students finished their first reading unit on fairy tales and tall tales. During this unit they learned all about Paul Bunyan and the American frontier which will lead into deeper learning later in the year about westward expansion. 

The students have absolutely loved these stories; pointing out the exaggerations, and discussing the morals. Friday, October 1st they were able to bring it all together by dressing up like Paul Bunyan, eating flap jacks, and reviewing all the tall tales.
