We are thrilled to announce that Simon Haines, an 2024 graduate, proudly represented the State of Wisconsin and Arcadia at the National Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Leadership Conference held in Orlando, Florida, this summer. Simon's participation was in the public speaking event on the critical topic of cybersecurity. In this event, he finished in sixth place out of 120 qualifiers nationwide. Fantastic!
Throughout the event, Simon also had the unique opportunity to network with fellow FBLA participants from across the country, expanding his connections and fostering valuable relationships.
Accompanied by his proud parents and advisor, Mrs. Baumgartner, Simon and his supporters made the most of their time in Orlando. They had the chance to explore the city and immerse themselves in its energy. As an exciting highlight, Universal Studios generously hosted an FBLA Night, creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
Additionally, the conference featured a college fair, offering all participants a firsthand look at various universities and their business programs. This provided invaluable insights into future academic and professional opportunities.
We are very proud of Simon's tremendous achievement and representation of Arcadia and Wisconsin at the national level. His dedication, perseverance, and exceptional abilities exemplify the spirit of our school and the values we instill in our students. We congratulate Simon on his success and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
