Advisory

Malanie Moreno- Malanie has grown in responsibility, demonstrates academic success and has strengthened her attendance. Malanie, if you stay invested in your school journey this way, you will have a  bright future!

Agriscience

Pedro Guzman- Pedro is a reserved student and deep thinker.  He has been a real attribute to this springs Plant Science Class.  He has done well in the class and has been a great help doing various things around the greenhouse.

Art

Maria Lopez- Maria is so incredibly hard working. She is kind and tries new things. Her art has broken several times but she keeps creating new ones to replace the broken ones. Even through all the stress she is happy and continues to create beautiful things in half the time of her peers. Her art is so perfect it made it to state and was even complimented while at state by others. Maria is so respectful and creative I can't wait to have her in class again.   

Band

Kayly Ortiz-Zeledon- Kayly always comes to class with a positive attitude. She is a kind and compassionate leader in the flute section, and helps explain different notes and rhythms to her section mates when they need help.

Business Department

Shylin Matchey- Determined student to not give up, and stay focused on academic tasks ahead of her, when many students get distracted.  Despite adversity, continues to persevere and make the best of the situation. Positive and amicable student.

Choir

Tracy Gomez- Tracy Gomez is such an AMAZING singer, but she is more than just talented.  She is a kind, helpful, respectful, and responsible leader in class and out of class. Thanks for all you do Tracy. YOU ARE APPRECIATED!!!

Drama

Carter Meyer- Mr. Meyer is an awesome student who's caring attitude and hardworking esthetics is a breathe of fresh air in the classroom.  Carter tries his best and Mrs. Schock can't wait to see him on the stage next year with the spring play. 

EL

Lesli Alavez- Lesli works hard, and her skills demonstrate the results of her efforts.  She pays attention to the small details (which can be very important when learning a language), and she is helpful to those around her.  

Diego Ortiz Vasquez- Diego has shown tremendous growth over the past year, not just academically but also socially and personally. His English has improved so much and he continues to work hard in all of his classes. I can tell that he really wants to learn. What stands out to me the most is the kind of person Diego is becoming. He has grown into someone who is kind, respectful and thoughtful of others. Keep it up Diego --  you are becoming a leader by example!

English

Kalyce Sobotta- Kalyce has shown dedication and growth in English this trimester. She worked hard to improve her skills, consistently completing assignments on time and focusing on mastering the material. Additionally, she was always willing to help keep her classmates on track, contributing positively to the class environment.

FCS

Melany Gonzalez-Arriaga- Melanie is a hard worker who consistently answers questions and helps her fellow classmates during discussions in Financial Literacy.   She has a consistently positive attitude that helps her conquer personal finance topics with ease.

Health Science

Izzy Dickman- Izzy is interested in learning and has insightful answers.  She puts a lot of detail into her work and uses thought out explanations. 

Mathematics

Annabelle Russell- Annabelle is dedicated, completely un-distractable, positive, and a good group member for activities. All that plus she's excellent at mathematics.

Neuro-Diversity

Oswaldo Hernandez Perez- He does his work every day and works hard.  He puts in a lot of effort and has a great work ethic.

Physical Education 

Carter Wegman- Carter was always productive and staying on task, while in physical education class. I was also very impressed on how he involved others in all activities that we participated in. Overall, Carter has matured a lot throughout this trimester, and proved to be a leader with good quality traits. -Mr.Rogers
I have been very impressed with how Carter has grown as a leader from his freshman year to his sophomore year.  For each unit, he focused on teamwork and was very unselfish.  Because of this, he has helped other students grow their skills and increased their physical activity.  Thank you Carter.    - Mr. Braunschweig

Science

Brandon Umanzor Moncada- Brandon has done exceptionally well in our Integrated Science class this tri, and has shown great strides in his approach to learning and the accountability he takes for his education. He has been attentive, always asking questions, and completing work on time and to standard. I am incredibly proud of the growth he has shown, not just in my science class, but as a student and human being throughout the course of this trimester.

Social Studies

Evelyn Tzanahua- Evelyn's work and participation in class has been at a high level all year, but this tri, she has begun helping other peers and offering to be partners, offer help with translation, and always displays a cheery welcome, even though it means extra work. Thanks much Evey!
