Congratulations to Aly Marcon, Middle School Special Education Teacher and recipient of the January Stronger Together Award. Mrs. Marcon provides engaging activities both in school and the community to prepare her students to be successful and independent individuals. Aly’s calm demeanor provides an inviting and accepting environment for her students to thrive. When entering her classroom, it is evident the students are engaged in their lessons and enjoying what they are working on. Aly creates lessons that are not only rich in content, but engaging and fun for the students. She does an excellent job of ensuring all students are engaged and learning regardless of their ability level.

 

Aly works hard to meet the needs of all of her students, both academically and behaviorally. She values working together and collaborating with other staff members and is an excellent communicator with individuals both in and outside of her department staff. Aly does a great job of ensuring her paraprofessionals are utilized in an organized and professional manner. She provides the training and materials the paraprofessionals need to support the students. The School District of Arcadia is grateful for Aly and appreciates her dedication to the Arcadia community.

The purpose of the Stronger Together Award is to recognize employees who serve our district in an exceptional manner by collaborating with staff, inspiring students and engaging families.
