Congratulations to Alyssa Pape, High School Science Teacher, and recipient of the October Stronger Together Award

Each month all staff members have the opportunity to nominate their peers for the School District of Arcadia Stronger Together Award. The purpose of the Stronger Together Award is to recognize employees who serve our district in an exceptional manner by collaborating with staff, inspiring students, and engaging families. Congratulations to Alyssa Pape, High School Science Teacher, and recipient of the October Stronger Together Award.

Alyssa continuously finds new and dynamic ways to engage students in her lessons, and always pushes kids to stay on track with their goals. Alyssa incorporates important skills and learning tasks to help students grow in academic and professional ability while in her class. Her classes are extremely dynamic and hands-on, even during the most simple learning tasks. Alyssa is always making sure everyone is involved or has a purpose during activities. She has explored and modified lessons to fit linguistic, neuro, and culturally diverse students. 

Alyssa's professionalism speaks for itself given the level of involvement she has at Arcadia High School. Alyssa is involved in multiple school clubs and committees, and she frequently reflects on ways we as a district can improve or grow. Alyssa is an incredible staff member, and she is a positive force within this school. Her commitment to building relationships is evident in her additional commitment to work after school and teach English to students, parents, and members of the community in order to help all families in Arcadia grow and prosper. The School District of Arcadia is grateful for Alyssa and thank her for her dedication to our school community.
