Each month all staff members have the opportunity to nominate their peers for the School District of Arcadia Stronger Together Award. The purpose of the Stronger Together Award is to recognize employees who serve our district in an exceptional manner by collaborating with staff, inspiring students and engaging families. 

Congratulations to Chris Hannon, School District of Arcadia’s Bookkeeper and recipient of the October Stronger Together Award. Chris maintains all employee and district-wide records including payroll, budget accounting, disbursement of checks and ensures accounts are reconciled. Behind the scenes, she supports all staff through purchase orders for curriculum and resources needed for student success. Her district office etiquette extends the school’s learning culture so that each employee feels that she has their back.

Chris demonstrates complete professionalism in her job to fellow employees, administration, and Arcadia taxpayers. Her confidential nature is exemplary. Mrs. Hannon demonstrates many Arcadia core values. However, it’s her strong relationship building belief that ties a district office lifeline to all employees. Chris’s innate and helpful nature is reassuring to questions about taxes, payroll, accounts payable, insurance, retirement, calculations, budget, and anything financial that are posed. The School District of Arcadia is grateful for Chris and appreciates her dedication to the Arcadia community.
