Middle School April Leaders of the Pack

Grade 5

Mikah Malpert - Mikah is a very studious, friendly and polite 5th grader. He is always working and striving to do his best in all of his classes. He has many friends, and he also likes to tell stories about the fish and deer that he has harvested.  Congrats, Mikah! 

Sonny Rice - Sonny is a new student who has really blossomed into a hard working 5th grader. He has a strong work ethic, and he really excels in math. The future looks bright for Sonny in middle school.  We are lucky to have Sonny as an Arcadia Raider!  Good Job, Sonny!

Grade 6

Jhojhan Rojas Ortiz - Jhojhan encourages classmates when they get discouraged. When he can give them clues or help them, he does. Jhojhan comes to class with a positive attitude, works well with classmates and teachers, and always does his best.  Jhojhan is a great example of an AMS Leader of the Pack! 

Bryanna Sandoval Zarate - Bryanna has an excellent work ethic.  She completes assignments with detail and accuracy.  Bryanna is a great group member when working in small groups with her classmates.  She asks questions for clarification and helps to keep her group on task. Nice effort, Bryanna! 

Grade 7

Zane Soper - Zane leads by example through his thoughtful participation, responsible behavior, and a caring attitude toward classmates. His responsibility and kindness make our classroom a better place for everyone. Zane demonstrates leadership by always being there to support his classmates and cheering them on. Zane is an avid reader, which shows in his creative and thoughtful writing. Congratulations Zane!

Viviana Moreno - Vivi is such a great, positive leader in 7th & 8th grade choir!  She is kind, respectful, responsible, hard working, and a great helper.  Vivi took a couple of different vocal events to Solo Ensemble last Saturday and did a super job!  An 8th grader could no longer participate in their Class A octet that they are performing on February 19 for the Bigger Group Solo Ensemble.  Vivi stepped up to the plate and is SUCCESSFULLY learning a Class A song in 7th grade!!  Way to go Vivi.  Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

Grade 8

Selvin Gonzalez Rueda - Selvin consistently demonstrates the qualities of a Leader of the Pack. He is very conscientious about his grades and always comes to class prepared and ready to learn. He takes pride in doing his best and puts in the effort to understand the material.

Selvin is also a friend to everyone and helps create a positive classroom environment. He has a great sense of humor and handles joking from classmates with maturity and a smile. His positive attitude, preparedness, and respectful interactions with others make him very deserving of this recognition.

Jarimely Sandoval - Jarimely is a student who listens attentively, completes assignments on time, and is always willing to help others. She consistently strives to make her parents and those around her proud through her effort and positive attitude. Jarimely is a quiet force in the classroom, yet her quick wit and warm smile have a way of lifting the spirits of those around her. She leads by example and truly embodies what it means to be a Leader of the Pack.
