‘Twas the week of Christmas, when all through the gymnasium not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. When out in the hallway there arose such a clatter, here comes kindergarten students ready for Christmas fun in PE! Physical Education teachers, Jennifer Gray and Evan Pagel, had prepared exciting activities for the students. The first activity was Stuck in the Snow, where two students were the taggers while others ran safely away to avoid being tagged and then stuck in the snow. The second activity students were split into groups where they were tasked with building a snowman with limited physical education materials such as hula hoops, bean bags and cones. One by one, each student ran down the gym and was able to select one item and run it back to their team. Once all items were spoken for, collaboratively as a team students built a snowman out of the materials they had collected. The gym was filled with Christmas music and children's laughter.
