Students Explore Counting with Magnetic Ten Frame Boards

Ms. Haines students come to her classroom with a wide variety of academic and sensory needs. Various resources allow her to create a classroom environment that supports their learning. New this year, students in her classroom get to learn with magnetic ten frame boards. This material allows students to be more hands on with their learning when they are reviewing counting, adding and subtracting. Hands-on materials allow students to be engaged in their learning and form long lasting skills that they can utilize in other academic areas. The magnetic ten frame boards were funded through DonorsChoose, a classroom funding site for teachers.
