- Families are required to pay for all ten weeks of our summer program; we do not offer vacation weeks or no payment options. Families are paying for the spot their child holds throughout the ten weeks as we have limited spots
- *Little Raiders is not offering part time summer rates. The full-time weekly rate is required each week but attendance is up to parents as they see fit. We are open 5 days a week Monday through Friday.
- **If you decide on the provide lunch from home option, you must adhere to this every day for the full 10 weeks of our program.
No School Days– School Age Children Drop In Only
Little Raiders offers drop in care for children ages 5 years old to 12 years old on these days if staffing is available. Fill out our google form below or call 608-323-3315 ext. 2123 at least two weeks before you need drop in care; we will contact you via email or phone call to confirm if your child can attend.
Cost: $20.00 a day; payment required when we confirm you have a drop in spot **If enrolled in the RISE school year program, no extra cost to attend these days for full days.

Before and After School Program-RISE- School Age [5 years-old to 12 years-old]
Before and After School Program--RISE (Reaching Individual Students Everywhere)--age group is 5 years old to 12 years old. The two groups would be 5 to 7 and 7 to 12. Before school goes from 5:45am to 7:30am; After school goes from 3:15pm to 5:45pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Early release Wednesday 2:15pm to 5:45pm. School age students are welcome to attend Little Raiders for a full day on the days that school is closed.
Teachers will provide children with individual attention and encourage children to express feelings in appropriate ways. Teachers will also assist in after school homework help. Children will continue to improve their listening skills, cooperative skills, independence skills, and grow in their respect for others, as well as responsibility for their actions. It is essential for staff to support school-age children in following the curriculum pre-planned for them from the school district and childcare center collaboration.
Little Raiders Childcare Center will:
- Provide resourceful, caring staff
- Recognize the importance of peer relationships in child development
- Utilize both mixed-age and same-age groupings when appropriate
- Allow children to self-select activities when possible
- Use positive guidance and discipline techniques
- Have classroom environments that facilitate individual, small-group, and large-group activities
- Offer students activities and experiences that foster self-esteem, thinking skills, physical development, competition, cooperation, good nutrition, health and safety, and community awareness.
Summer School Age Program-RISE-School Age [5 years-old to 12 years-old]
Summer School Age Program--This is our full time care option for school age children only (5 years to 12 years old). Our program runs from June 12, 2023 to August 18, 2023 this year. Students will be enrolled and remain with us throughout the whole summer to give them structure, opportunities, guidance, and fun during the summer months! We are using two classrooms within the Arcadia Elementary School right around the corner of our center. All interested families, must contact Jolynn Wendt at wendtjo@arcadia.k12.wi.us or call us at 608-323-3315 ext. 2123 for enrollment information. We have a limited amount of spots available.
Vision: The Reaching Individual Students Everywhere (R.I.S.E) Program is dedicated to providing a fun interactive environment that encourages all students to learn, succeed, and explore. We strive to support our students' learning and academics by helping students make their education entertaining, yet a priority.
Mission: The RISE Program's main goal is to obtain respect and trust from one another as well as our families and students. To teach small acts of kindness & responsibility through structure and experiences to enhance students with life values; such as working together, sharing, and thinking of others.
Philosophy: The RISE Program is motivated to teach students they have opportunities to make choices in a safe environment that is enriching and stimulating. Students are curious from a young age and have a desire to learn from their environment and peers around them. When students are encouraged to interact with their peers and adults in a positive way, they feel safe to explore their surroundings. All students can learn and want to learn. It’s our responsibility to meet students where they are and move them forward.
